This Charrie is for another site, but I'm keeping it here because there isn't anywhere else to keep it
Name: Eabha (Ea-va)
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Height:
Human: 5.8 ft
Lycan: (upright) 9.6 ft
Weight:
Human: 60kgs
Lycan: 120 kgs
Appearance of human state: Average height, average weight. Eabha is uninteresting to behold. Her hair is brown and stringy, her eyes watery grey and close set. She usually wears boring clothes, plain t-shirts and ripped jeans. She really doesn't care about the state of her clothes at all.
Appearance of Lycan state:
Powerfully Muscled, with a bulky outline. She's not that great at runing fast, but in combat ThunderTear would have the advantage. Her pelt is black, unmarked by scars or other colours. Her claws are longer then average, black crescents that are more often then not covered with dried blood.
The fur around her head is similarly bloody, attracting flies and smelling quite bad. But, for her, it is a mark of status. It shows how merciless she really is.
Her right eye are startling blue, the other, dark crimson.
Tail is long and silver-tipped, fangs are long and curved.
Personality: Eabha is not frightened of the change. On the contrary, she longs for her moonlit jaunts. It has become such an obsession, that she has stopped looking after her human form. Nofriends, or social skills at all. Friends are beyond her.
When she goes to bed on the night of the full moon, she places herself in a deep trance, like meditating. Therefore, she doesn't feel the pain of the transformation, and wakes up fully changed. She always locks the door on those nights. Known in her lycan form as "ThunderTear"
History: Her mother died giving birth to Eabha, so she grew up an orphan. She had never known her father, and only met him once. Just long enough for him to give her a little bite. At that time, she was only three years old. At first, it was scary. Then, she found about the "trance" to stop the pain, and she began to enjoy it. She lived in a one-roomed building on the outskirts of the village. At night, the villagers also locked their doors.
"Beware, ThunderTear will get you!" was the common whisper on the nights of full-moon.
She still lives there, and the villagers are the same as ever.
Example of roleplay: She gave a start of fear as the ice sprang up around her. Then, the other Dragon landed in front of her. Whoops, this is getting bad she thought desperately. She laid her ears flat onto her skull in a submissive pose as he spoke.
But Maia still held on to that shred of pride that had started this crazy chase in the first place. She looked into his cold eyes and smiled a smile that showed no fear. Exactly the opposite of the way she really felt.
"Impressed, eh?" she grinned up at him. "But I doubt that a-" here she laid on tones of heavy sarcasm "-mighty Dragon like yourself would be so impressed with little old me.
Sure, I'm only just past childhood. But, I suppose a mighty Dragon like yourself has to envy the young. Very-" suddenly, midsentence, she launched herself into the semi-frozen dirt. In a matter of miliseconds, she was deep underground, the great heat of the core of the earth protecting her from the ice above. To one above ground, watching them, it would have seemed that she had vanished. Well, she was an earth Dragon.
She traveled for a short distance, under the great patch of cold that was the other Dragon, and up again. She grinned, knowing she had fooled him again. She looked back and saw his hindquarters, icicles spearing into the grass. She knew it would be foolish, but she couldn't resist a last jibe before she departed.
"And, I suppose a mighty Dragon like yourself should get to his other important business, instead of chasing defenceless younglings"
She hoped she had made it clear that he was a fool, chasing young Dragons who, in a proper fight, would be ripped apart in seconds.
Less then seconds. Maia gulped, knowing that she had narrowly escaped that fate. She, and this was probably the most stupid thought of all, decided to stay back, to watch his reaction
Gee, Maia said a little voice in her head. You've really blown it this time
Note: Eabha doesn't yet know that she can transform without moonlight
